Supplier Sustainability Guidelines

The Sky Perfect JSAT Group has established the SKY Perfect JSAT Group Supplier Sustainability Guidelines (hereinafter, the “Guidelines”) as its policy on respect for human rights, anti-corruption and the working environment, with the aim of fulfilling its social responsibility throughout the supply chain of service provision.
The Group has established the Guidelines to be adhered to by our officers and employees in promoting sustainable procurement and to be practiced by our suppliers, aiming to build a good partnership based on mutual trust with our suppliers and to enhance understanding and permeation of these Guidelines not only among our suppliers but also throughout their supply chains, thereby advancing the efforts towards sustainable procurement across all supply chains related to the SKY Perfect JSAT Group's business.

1.Compliance with laws and regulations

We will comply with all relevant laws and regulations, international conventions, and social norms applicable in the countries and regions where we conduct business activities.
In addition to complying with all relevant laws and regulations, international conventions, and social norms applicable in the countries and regions where we conduct business activities, we respect contracts and commitments and conduct corporate activities with an understanding of the demands of society.

2.Respect for human rights

We engage in business activities that respect human rights.
The SKY Perfect JSAT Group will not engage in any acts that infringe human rights, such as discrimination or harassment on the grounds of nationality, ethnic origin, race, gender, age, religion, beliefs, social standing, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, disability, etc.

3.Maintenance of the working environment

We will develop an appropriate working environment in compliance with laws and regulations.
The SKY Perfect JSAT Group will not engage in forced labor, overwork, low wage labor (labor below minimum wage), child labor, harassment or bullying, or unfair treatment of employees.
We will comply with laws and regulations, and strive to create an appropriate working environment, ensure fair working conditions, and guarantee minimum wages.
We will guarantee employees' freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining.
We will take measures and issue warnings to prevent occupational accidents.

4.Environmental considerations

We will conduct business activities that take into account environmental protection and the reduction of environmental impact.
We will voluntarily establish, maintain, and improve systems for environmental protection and reduction of environmental impact.
We will endeavor to reduce GHG emissions, energy consumption, water consumption and the amount of waste used in business, effectively use resources, and conduct initiatives to reduce environmental impact, including climate change, biodiversity conservation, and pollution prevention.

5.Fair corporate activities

We will practice business activities based on high ethical standards and fair competition rules.
We will not engage in bribery, rebates or kickbacks, illegal international remittances, money laundering, insider trading, or other corrupt practices.
We will not make facilitation payments (small payments to facilitate normal administrative procedures) with the intent of obtaining unfair profits or benefits, regardless of country or region.
In order to prevent bribery and other improper expenditures, we will ensure the creation and storage of appropriate and accurate accounting records and appropriate internal controls.
We will protect and respect intellectual property rights.
We will not conduct business with anti-social forces.

6.Ensuring quality

We will ensure the quality required of products and services.
We will be aware of the possible impact of our products, productions and services on customers and society, and ensure appropriate quality. We will cooperate with activities to ensure quality by establishing a quality control system and improving voluntary quality control through the appropriate implementation and operation of a quality management system.
We will cooperate with activities to ensure the quality of SKY Perfect JSAT Group companies.

7.Ensuring information security

We will thoroughly ensure the prevention of leaks of personal and confidential information.
We will take defensive measures against threats on computer networks and manage them appropriately to prevent information leaks and other damage to our company and other companies.
We will appropriately manage and protect the personal information of customers, third parties, and employees.
We will appropriately manage and protect confidential information received from customers and third parties.

8.Coexistence with local communities

We will respect the culture and customs of the countries and regions where we conduct business activities and endeavor to develop sustainable societies.
We will give consideration to the culture and customs of the countries and regions where we conduct business activities, and communicate with local communities.
