[Reference] GHG emissions are disclosed as Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 (Category 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 13*) which are calculated using coefficients published by the Ministry of the Environment, in order to submit reports based on the Act on Promotion of Global Warming Countermeasures and the Act on Rationalizing Energy Use.
Scope 1: GHG emissions released directly into the atmosphere
at the GHG emissions source
Scope 2: CO2 emissions from electricity provided
by a third party, electricity generated from heat, and the heat generation
stage
Scope 3: Indirect GHG emissions related to business activities in
the supply chain of vendors other than direct emissions and energy-derived
indirect emissions
