Orbital Lasers, a Startup from SKY Perfect JSAT, Selected as "J-Startup" by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & CEO: Eiichi Yonekura; “SKY Perfect JSAT”) is pleased to announce that Orbital Lasers Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director & CEO: Tadanori Fukushima, “Orbital Lasers” ), a startup established in January 2024 by SKY Perfect JSAT, has been selected as the company to join the prestigious “J-Startup” program, promoted by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (“METI”).

Since its carve-out from SKY Perfect JSAT, Orbital Lasers has been advancing its space debris removal and satellite LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) businesses based on innovative satellite laser technology. SKY Perfect JSAT is honored that Orbital Lasers has been selected as the company to join the prestigious “J-Startup” program, in recognition of its continuous efforts to take on unprecedented challenges.
