SKY Perfect JSAT expands service offering with Starlink Business broadband service using low earth orbit satellites

 SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & Chief Executive Officer: Eiichi Yonekura; SKY Perfect JSAT) announced its certification as a reseller by Starlink Japan, GK and plans to begin offering Starlink Business, a broadband service using low-earth-orbit satellites, by the end of 2023.

 SKY Perfect JSAT has provided various broadband services using geostationary satellites to meet the demands for communication in mountainous regions, for aircrafts and vessels, as well as for emergency communication in support of business continuity planning. By newly adding Starlink Business to our service lineup, customers can easily use low-latency, high-speed communications services.

 Starlink Business is a high-speed broadband internet service that can achieve download speeds of up to 220Mbps and upload speeds of up to 25Mbps and we plan to offer three service plans. In order to expand sales of this service, we also plan to provide services through NTT DOCOMO, INC. and NTT Communications Corporation, in addition to providing services directly to our customers.

 SKY Perfect JSAT will continue to work on enhancing customer convenience through the improvement of existing services and the expansion of new offerings.

Standard Plan -        For Land use	1TB	Provision of satellite-based broadband Internet connection by installing Starlink antenna at locations pre-designated by the customer.

Portable Plan -        For Land use	50GB	Provision of satellite-based broadband Internet connection by installing Starlink antenna at any location. The antenna can be carried and used in various locations.

Maritime Plan -        For Maritime	50GB	Provision of satellite-based broadband Internet connection by installing Starlink antenna on vessels or other facilities for use within the territorial waters of Japan.
