SKY Perfect JSAT Selected as Component
for "FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index"

 We are pleased to inform you that SKY Perfect JSAT Holdings Inc. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President: Eiichi Yonekura) has been selected for the first time as a component of ESG index “FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index” selected by FTSE Russell, a global index provider.

 “FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index” is comprised of Japanese stocks built by FTSE Russell and evaluated as the top in the sector for their ESG Rating to reflect environmental, social and governance (ESG) responses by sector. In addition, companies with particularly large greenhouse-gas emissions are included only if their efforts to improve are evaluated using TPI Management Quality (MQ) score*. In this way, it supports the transition to a low-carbon economy from the capital market aspect. On March 30, 2022, GPIF (Government Pension Investment Fund), the world's largest pension fund, adopted it as a benchmark for the ESG passive fund.

 We have already been adopted in the “S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index” and “Morningstar Japan ex-REIT Gender Diversity Tilt Index”. As a result of this selection, we have been selected for the constituent stocks of the 3 ESG indexes of the 6 indexes that GPIF uses for Japanese stocks.
