For over 30 years, our group has been engaged in the Space and Media businesses using communication satellites. We ensure communication during emergencies and bridge the digital divide, serving as social infrastructure to support your safety and security. Additionally, we provide services that enrich your lives by catering to the preferences of multi-channel broadcasting viewers.
In the Space business, amidst a rapidly evolving landscape, we are advancing the construction of a multi-layered communication network, the Universal Non-Terrestrial Network. This network combines geostationary satellites, low Earth orbit satellites, and High Altitude Platforms (HAPS) to deliver faster, higher-capacity, user-friendly, and competitive services. Furthermore, in the field of earth observation and data analysis, our ownership of a fleet of low Earth orbit observation satellites with world-class resolution enables us to tailor images and data to meet the specific requirements of our clients, facilitating further expansion in the business intelligence field. We will continue to expand both domestically and internationally, with a focus on security, which will become increasingly important in the future.
In the Media business, we are optimizing the efficiency of our existing multichannel pay-TV platform while steadily expanding our media solutions services, including program relay transmission and production orders, leveraging our resources. We are also responding to changes in viewer trends by expanding optical retransmission services and launching connected TV in October 2024, with plans for an advertising distribution platform. Additionally, we are accelerating the development of businesses not reliant on broadcasting, such as the deployment of Web3 services and the production of anime through SKY Perfect Pictures Inc., established in April 2024, for domestic and international expansion.
