Practical Competition (2) Metal Mine in the Palm of the Hand
The task was to unravel the identity of an unidentified reagent and metal using a known substance called qualitative analysis.
We will proceed with the discussion as a team relying on the smell of mixing and litmus test papers.

Practical Competition (3) "Balloon Festa in Tsukuba Science of Hot Air Balloon Lifting and Lowering Movements!
Practical Competition (3) is different from other questions, and (some of the questions) are published before the competition.
The contestants competed to see if they could put hot air into a hot air balloon made of the specified materials within the time limit and in a predetermined manner, and land as close to the starting point as possible while keeping the flight time close to the target flight time announced on the day of the competition.

Awards Ceremony

The award ceremony was finally held, and while the tense atmosphere enveloped the venue, the sponsoring companies announced the "Special Corporate Award" before the overall rankings.

The SKY Perfect JSAT Award will be given to the high school that placed first in the writing competition.

The winner of the SKY Perfect JSAT Award was Eiko Gakuen High School, representing Kanagawa Prefecture! Congratulations!!
Our company also took the stage and presented a certificate and a supplementary prize.

Finally, the overall rankings are announced
The first place went to Eiko Gakuen High School, representing Kanagawa Prefecture.
Coincidentally, Eiko Gakuen High School, which won the SKY Perfect JSAT Award, was also ranked first in the overall ranking. Eiko Gakuen High School became the first team in history to win two consecutive championships following yesterday's Fiscal year, and it has left a big mark on the history of Koshien in science.

A total of 120 students and teachers visited the exhibition booth.

In order to deepen their interest in space and satellites, we gave them satellite paper crafts and leaflets with interviews with our employees who have participated in the Science Koshien in the past.

In addition, we distributed information to the teachers of all participating schools to tour the facilities for junior high and high school students at our Yokohama Satellite Control Center and Tokyo Media Center.
