SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "SKY Perfect") held an in-house roundtable discussion on "balancing work and nursing care" with volunteer members.
This time, we will tell you how we came to hold this roundtable discussion and what happened on the day.

To hold the first "Nursing Care Roundtable

In Japan, where the birthrate is declining and the population is aging, nursing care has become a major issue for society as a whole, and in light of this situation, there is a growing momentum for companies to establish systems that allow employees to balance work and nursing care.

Last year, we conducted an internal survey on nursing care, and found that there are many employees who are balancing work and nursing care, and that there are employees who are having trouble balancing that balance.

At the seminar, the Human Resources Department gave a lecture on our support system, a lecturer from Pasona Life Care Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Pasona Life Care") gave a lecture on the long-term care insurance system and examples of balancing work and nursing care. Many employees participated in the seminar, indicating a high level of interest.

At that time, we received the opinion that we wanted a place where we could exchange information and share concerns, so we decided to hold a nursing care roundtable discussion by volunteer members in September.

Based on their worries and real-life experiences related to nursing care, they talked about their experiences of physical and mental burden, financial burden, and anxiety about balancing work and work.

The participants empathized with each other's stories and exchanged advice based on their own experiences, and after the roundtable discussion, some participants commented that their hearts were a little lighter, which was a valuable opportunity for them to interact.
