Last fiscal year, the training was held off-site from our facilities, so we participated only by giving a lecture. This fiscal year, however, on Friday, August 22, 2025, it was held at our base, the Yokohama Satellite Control Center (hereinafter, “YSCC”). We conducted a lecture on the theme of “Improving the Capacity for Utilizing Space Technology that Contributes to the SDGs,” as well as a tour of the YSCC facilities.
On the day, a total of 14 participants attended: 9 trainees from 7 countries—Malaysia, Angola, Rwanda, Vietnam, Tunisia, Mongolia, and the Philippines—along with 5 observers from 5 countries—Egypt, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, and Senegal. Many of the participants are officials from government ministries and agencies in their respective countries who are involved in policy formulation and the promotion of space development, and they are expected to play central roles in their countries’ Space Business in the future.
In the lecture portion, we provided an overview of the Company and explained the relationship between the Space Business and sustainability, as well as the role of YSCC. It served as an opportunity for participants to learn how our Group’s Space Business contributes to solving social issues and promoting development.

During the facility tour, many questions were asked at various locations within YSCC, and we believe it was also an engaging and stimulating time for both the trainees and observers.

We will continue to contribute to the sustainability of society and the global and space environment through a variety of initiatives.
