SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President & Chief Executive Officer: Eiichi Yonekura; “SKY Perfect JSAT”) has secured a new project to provide Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)*1 data from low Earth orbit (LEO) Earth observation satellites to a government agency. SKY Perfect JSAT will deliver satellite imagery data captured by small SAR satellites operated by Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc. (Head Office: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; President and Representative Director CEO: Shunsuke Onishi; “iQPS”), a startup company based in Kyushu and a key partner in this initiative. The data provision will continue through March 31, 2026.

   SKY Perfect JSAT and iQPS have built a long strategic partnership, working closely together to leverage data from iQPS’s small SAR satellites. *1 SAR（Synthetic Aperture Radar）：A radar system that utilizes radio waves to acquire imagery of the Earth's surface. It is capable of penetrating clouds and smoke, allowing for consistent observations both day and night.
*2 First Light: The first image captured by a satellite after its initial operation begins.
