TOKYO, Japan, August 5, 2026 – SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation extends its deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake and its heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the disaster.

SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation has decided to donate JPY 20 million to support relief, recovery, and reconstruction efforts in the affected areas.

The Company has already implemented subscription fee waivers for affected customers of services including SKY Perfec TV!.*

In addition, to support the restoration and maintenance of communications and information-gathering capabilities in the disaster-stricken areas, the Company will provide its portable and fixed satellite communication terminals free of charge in response to requests from local governments and relevant organizations.

Furthermore, based on local conditions in the affected areas and requests from relevant authorities, the Company will provide support by leveraging technologies and services developed through its Space Business, including the provision of satellite imagery.

SKY Perfect JSAT sincerely hopes for the swift recovery and reconstruction of the affected communities and will continue to provide necessary support in response to evolving needs.
